Our 24-hour care keeps a trained, awake caregiver in the home around the clock, backed by a team built for higher needs.
Most of our 24-hour clients are managing something serious, like a stroke, dementia, Parkinson's, COPD, heart disease, diabetes, kidney failure and dialysis, or hospice care, and often more than one at once. That's why we staff it differently.
- Awake overnight coverage for bathroom help, repositioning and reassurance
- Consistent daytime routines, meals, hygiene and companionship
- Fall prevention and wandering supervision for dementia
- Lead Caregivers on call, so 98 of every 100 scheduled visits are delivered

Care that never clocks out, and never leaves a gap
A dedicated Care Advocate
One person assigned to your loved one, and your one phone number for anything about care. They coordinate with the family, power of attorney, and your financial and legal team, and they oversee quality with spot checks and regular visits in the home.
A consistent caregiver team
A small team of the same caregivers who know your loved one's routines, preferences and needs, not a rotating cast of strangers.
Lead caregivers on call
If a caregiver gets sick at the last minute, a trained lead caregiver who can step into any home fills the shift. Your loved one is never left alone, or handed to someone unprepared.
A private care-team page
Each 24-hour client has a secure online page where their caregivers and Care Advocate share notes in real time, so Wednesday's caregiver knows exactly what happened Monday and Tuesday.
Awake, rotating shifts
Caregivers work in shifts around the clock, so someone is always awake and alert. We do not offer live-in care.
Higher-acuity ready
Oregon's Comprehensive license means our caregivers can administer medications and support complex needs, not just provide companionship.
We work with your providers, and your legal and financial team
Families arranging 24-hour care often have many people involved. Your Care Advocate coordinates with all of them, so you don't have to.
- Long-term care insurance (we're in the CareScout Quality Network)
- Trust officers and financial advisors
- Attorneys, guardians and powers of attorney
- Physicians, home health and hospice teams
Complex and multiple conditions
If someone has heart disease, they often have diabetes too, and some are also living with kidney failure. For clients on dialysis, we schedule care around treatment days, provide rides, and help through the tiredness that follows. One plan of care covers everything.
24-hour care, answered
Is 24-hour care the same as live-in?
No, and it's an important difference. We staff 24-hour care with rotating shifts of awake caregivers, so someone is always alert. We do not offer live-in care where one person sleeps over.
Who do we call with questions?
Your Care Advocate. They're your one point of contact for anything about the quality and coordination of care. Schedule changes go through our scheduling team, and your Care Advocate stays in the loop.
What happens if a caregiver can't make a shift?
An on-call lead caregiver steps in. Lead caregivers are trained to go into any home at any time, so your loved one is never left alone.
Can you work with our trust officer, attorney or insurance?
Yes. Your Care Advocate coordinates with your financial and legal team, including guardianships, and we handle long-term care insurance paperwork for you.
When do families choose 24-hour care?
After a stroke, a fall or a hospital discharge, with advancing dementia, during hospice, or when several conditions at once make it unsafe for someone to be alone.
Can we start with overnights and add hours later?
Absolutely. Many families begin with overnight or evening coverage and scale up or down as needs change, with no long-term contract.
