In-home personal care is the heart of what Aspire does. A trained, background-checked caregiver comes to your loved one's home and helps with the activities of daily living, for a few hours a day or around the clock.
Every plan is built through the Aspire Wellness Program, around five factors of well-being, so care does more than complete chores.

Many of our clients are. Heart disease often comes with diabetes, and some clients are living with kidney failure and dialysis. We build one plan of care around everything, and we can schedule care around dialysis days, including rides to treatment and support through the tiredness that follows.

Is personal care medical care?
No. Personal care is hands-on, non-medical help with daily living. Because Aspire holds Oregon's Comprehensive license, our caregivers can also administer medications and support higher-acuity needs where appropriate, working alongside your loved one's doctors and home health team.
How many hours of care do we need?
It depends on your loved one. Some families start with a few hours a day, others need help all day or around the clock. We'll recommend a schedule during the free consultation, and it can change any time.
Can we have the same caregiver each visit?
We build a small, consistent team for every client, so your loved one sees familiar faces who know their routines.
Do you offer live-in care?
No. For around-the-clock needs we provide 24-hour care with awake caregivers working in shifts, so someone is always alert.
How do families pay for personal care?
Private pay, long-term care insurance, VA benefits and Medicaid. We're part of the CareScout Quality Network and handle long-term care insurance paperwork for you. See paying for care.
